Bologna
Palazzo Albiroli is a historic 17th century building of the Albiroli family of the same name. It is located in the center of Bologna a few dozen meters from Piazza Grande next to the Prendiparte or Coronata Tower of the 12th century built by the Guelph Prendiparte family as a bulwark against enemy attacks.
The renovation project was carried out by M.E. Real Estate in 2016 and brings the entire building once used for office activities to a new civilian use by creating fifty-six apartments. The restoration was conservative where possible; inside, for exemple, the Venetian grit was maintained in the floors and the wrought iron handrails.
Special attention was also paid to the livability of such a central area; for this reason, a fully automated underground garage was built with twenty-six parking spaces.
The elegance of history blends with the functionality and practicality required by modern life in a perfect combination that makes special living in this structure.
